It all begins in 1935…
At a height of 600 meters in the village of Pikoulianika, the great-grandfather Aivalis, during the war, made the decision to buy 1 acre of land. With stone and wood, he built a place with which he supplied raw materials, food and the transportation of letters throughout the village of Pikoulianika. It all begins in 1935… It was then taken over by his daughter Panagiota (Pipitsa) who learned to cook next to her mother and continued with her husband Dimitris. Two brothers then continue the tradition of taste and hospitality of their grandfather Uncle Mimis Vahaviolos by creating Ktima Skreka. A multi-purpose hall inspired by father Ilias who continued the family tavern of 81 years of age and built by the distinguished architect Spyros Tzinieris. The menu is slow-cooked in our traditional wood oven, it is important for us that the visitor feels all the taste, all the tradition, remembers and feels the warmth of a family table. With local vegetables, herbs from our vegetable garden and patient cooking in the traditional wood oven, the final dish is a savorous experience.
